                                          Rightly Dividing The Bible
The " Rightly dividing the bible" website was made to help understanding the bible easier.

Something that has been on my mind.
"Hybrid christianity" , when people take the truth and facts from the bible and then mix them with their own beliefs and nontruths in order to have a religion that is less offensive or easier to follow.   ( example below )
For thousands of years people were fine in believing in the word of God and knowing that the final decision or answer should come from the Bible. People knew that to have a relationship with Christ that you must read and pray regularly, rather than choose which one you liked more or which one you had time to do. We understood that the bible was the inspired word of God ( II Tim. 3:16) and that it is where we get our knowledge, doctrine, and instruction.
Today people want to mix their own beliefs with God's truth which I call a   "Hybrid Christianity".
Point #1. Today everywhere you turn people are trying to tell you that the bible is not good enough, and if you want to understand it that you must constantly get the newer bibles, praphrased versions, and read lots of christian books to better understand the meaning of the scriptures. What they don't understand is that Gods perfect book is all we need, and since God truly inspired the scriptures then we have the perfect book.Beware of  Paraphrased bibles, if we are reading a paraphrased bible then that is NOT the word of God. It is someones opinion of what they think the word of God says, and that means they removed scripture and added their own words. The bible says specifically (Rev.22:19,Prov.30:6) never to add or take away from the word of God and that every word in the bible is true and accurate.(Prov. 30:5) The bible tells us to study the word of God to be able to rightly divide and understand what it says. But if we are not reading the word of God and we are reading a paraphrased bible then we " by the words of the Bible" are not studying the bible.
Point #2.  Another thing is when people try to tell you what is right and wrong morally but have no scripture to back it up. What they are doing is either preaching their convictions(Rom.14:1-10) or preaching what they want to be true and not what the bible actually says.  ( Prov. 3:5-6 )  These scriptures show that if you want to learn the beliefs that are in the bible then study the bible and allow God to lead you to HIS understanding and HIS paths, and that if you are strongly convicted about something then that is between you and God but should not be preached as if the bible says it to all.
Just remember that if you are saved then the Holy Spirit is in you and he will help you understand what is in the word.(Job32:8)

Point #3.
Being relevant is the latest thing that some christians, pastors, and others will mention to try to get people saved, come to their church, or so they don't offend anyone. But the problem is in order to do this you have to change what the bible and God says to not offend the world and the bible tells us not to conform to the world. ( Romans 12:2)  The bible also tells us that it will offend and it says that it will convict us of our sins, and that is why we are able to know that we are sinners.  The bible tells us in Romans 2:15 that the law is written in our hearts and our conscience bears witness to this. The bible mentions the word hell, 54 x's and the lake of fire
4 x's, but the word hell offends the lost so people don't mention it. We need to remember that if we don't tell them what sin is because it might offend them, and we don't mention hell because it might scare them, then what ( in their mind) are they being saved from.  When I say be cautious "being relevant" I am not saying not to relate to them, I am just saying we should do everything we can to change the world and not to change the church to fit the world.
